The Black Book About Tymoshenko was Written by Former Stasi Informant
Deutsche Welle referring to the website of the Federal Fund for the development of the effects of the German Socialist Single Party dictatorship.
As it is known, the German journalist published a book "Swindler. Tymoshenko Case" dedicated to former Prime Minister and criminal cases in her regard.
"The site of the Federal Fund for the development of the effects of the German Socialist Single Party dictatorship contains information that Schumann was a Stasi informant (GDR's analogue of KGB). The book on Tymoshenko written by him turned out to be ideological," noted DW.
"Schumann writes Orange Revolution protest movement with inverted commas, and provides a list of American grant donors who allegedly financed the protesters. Honoring of Holodomor under President Yushchenko he considers politically motivated, noting that Yanukovych called on not overestimating the number of victims," says the article.
"Schumann prefers to place the subjective judgments into others, citing journalists of well-known papers, taxi drivers and babushkas," notes the article.
"In the book there is a lot of things besides a conversation with Yulia Tymoshenko - Ukrainian officials did not allow to meet her. Her party fellows and supporters were also ignored. As the author explained at a press conference in Kyiv he could not reach them by phone."
