Crimean Diplomas Will Not Be Recognized in Europe

Crimean diplomas will not be recognized by European Universities.
Inna Sovsun, First Deputy of the Head of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukrainereported at a briefing, Censor.NET informs referring to Ukrinform.
"I spoke with colleagues from Europe and other countries to understand their position on the status of Crimean universities. Supporting the position of Ukrainian government, they do not recognize the official status of Crimean universities," Sovsun said.

According to her, the diplomas which graduates will receive in Crimean universities in the coming years will be recognized within the Crimea and Russia, but not by Europeans and Americans, who are not ready to recognize diplomas obtained in the annexed universities.
"Unfortunately, the students will lose much in terms of international mobility due to the fact that these diplomas actually lose international recognition for today," Sovsun noted.
