PGO completes Arbuzov case investigation, Lutsenko says
Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO) Department for International Legal Cooperation has ended an investigation into the case of former Head of Ukraine National Bank (NBU) Serhii Arbuzov who is suspected of defalcation.

"The PGO’s Department for International Legal Cooperation has finished a pre-trial investigation into the case of former Head of the National Bank of Ukraine and First Vice Premier Arbuzov who is charged with abuse of his official post as part of a criminal organization and misappropriation of NBU assets in the amount of 220 million UAH ($7.8 million)," Lutsenko said.

Arbuzov led the NBU in 2010-2012. Until 2014, he had held office of First Vice Premier. He has been the subject of several investigations in Ukraine and is currently hiding in the Russian Federation.
