Traffic stopped in the Mykolaiv, Zaporizhia, and Kherson regions due to heavy snowfalls
This was reported by Censor.NET citing the press service of the Infrastructure Ministry.
In order to prevent concentration of cars and vehicles when cleaning the roads from the snow, the traffic was prohibited at all public motorways of the Mykolaiv region.
In order to prevent traffic jams, trucks and buses were forbidden access to the M-18 road Kharkiv-Simferopol-Alushta-Yalta from the Dnipropetrovsk region to Zaporizhia city, and from Zaporizhia to Vasyliivka (the Zaporizhia region).
In the Kherson region, the traffic was closed on the motorway M-14 Odesa-Melitopol-Novoazovsk, from 177th to 199th kilometer.
As reported earlier, the traffic is problematic in Odesa due to heavy snowfalls. The airports 'Zaporizhia' and 'Kherson' have stopped operating due to snow storms.
