The Speaker of the House of Commons of the Parliament of Great Britain, Sir Lindsey Goyle, advocated the unification of the efforts of partner countries regarding the production and supply of weapons to Ukraine.

This is reported by Censor.NET with reference to the VR website.

"We need to turn the tide. All joint efforts must be aimed at solving this issue. Today, Russia already feels threatened, they are afraid. Therefore, it is important to continue to produce and supply a sufficient number of cartridges, ammunition, and weapons. It is important to involve other countries in such a continuous supply for Ukraine," Goyle said at a meeting with Verkhovna Rada Chairman Ruslan Stefanchuk in London.

Goyle also emphasized that Russia should pay for its crimes, and its assets around the world should not only be frozen but also seized and handed over to Ukraine for reconstruction. "We will make efforts to ensure that such a process takes place all over the world," he added.

"Every democratic country has the right to sovereignty, to its rights, and no one should suffer from threats and intimidation. If the world does not intervene, things will get worse. Therefore, we are on the side of the one who defends his own and fights against the aggressor," Goyle summarized.

For his part, Stefanchuk noted that the political decisions of the British Parliament are important for Ukraine for its future victory over the Russian Federation. He called to recognize Russia as a terrorist state and to recognize the Holodomor of 1932-1933 in Ukraine as a genocide of the Ukrainian people.

The parties also discussed the continuation of sanctions pressure on the Russian Federation, the confiscation of Russian assets, and the development of a compensation mechanism to direct them to Ukraine to compensate for the losses caused by the war.

"Great Britain was and remains the leader of the sanctions pressure against Russia. It is important that this pressure is maintained and that we begin to block the ways of circumventing the already imposed sanctions. Putin must pay for this war. The whole civilized world must issue a "check" to Putin for this aggression," - emphasized Stefanchuk.

It was previously reported that the Ukrainian military has completed training on Challenger 2 tanks.
