As informs Censor.NЕТ referring to Ukrinform, this was stated by Mykhailo Podoliak, Advisor to the Head of the Presidential Office, on the air of the "United News" telethon.
"Prigozhin today is not a monopolist, who used to be a very important component of the military system for the Kremlin to solve certain important issues in third countries. Prigozhin no longer receives budget funding, no longer receives resources through the Defense Ministry," Podoliak said.
According to him, Prigozhin has no direct communication with the Kremlin, and the threats to withdraw his mercenaries from Bakhmut are just one manifestation of the internal war that has begun in Russia. In particular, many "small clans are being formed in Russia, and all these clans are in Putin's big clan."
"And all these small clans are now looking for an opportunity to 'jump' from responsibility together with Putin and shift it to someone else. And to do this, they need to gradually destroy each other or shift public responsibility for the failed plans to attack Ukraine," Podoliak added.
