Deported Ukrainian children in Russian Federation have their names and dates of birth changed, - Vereshchuk
This was stated by the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk, Censor.NET reports with reference to Interfax-Ukraine.
"In Russia, where they are buried in all regions, they change their identity, change their names, surnames, dates of birth, do everything to assimilate, and in fact - commit an act of genocide against our children, forcibly Russify them, give them so-called passports, do everything to the children forgot about their native land, forgot their language, forgot their culture and accepted, as they say, a new reality," said the Deputy Prime Minister.
Vereshchuk emphasized that Ukraine needs massive international support in the matter of returning Ukrainian children, in particular status children.
"We need pressure on Russia. We must find a mechanism immediately. Because every day that the children remain there is a negative for their future, it is a loss of their identity," the official said.
