"There may be knockout": Zelensky promises tough response to closed shelter in Kyiv
As informs Censor.NЕТ, this was stated by Zelensky during briefing in Romania.
Zelensky was asked what his reaction to what happened would be upon his return to Kyiv.
"Everyone will be responsible. The reaction will be firm," the president said.
He was asked for a more detailed answer, about the specific people who would be responsible.
"Very specific people. I have to come and they will show me the details. We will figure it out. People will definitely be responsible for the fact that someone lost the opportunity to get to the bomb shelter and, unfortunately, died... We don't have enough of these enemies in Russia, we also have internal enemies... I would say that, but there are many journalists here... I have a word on my mind, but I can't say it... I would say this: it could be a knockout," the President replied.
According to Kyiv police, three people were killed in the missile attack on the capital, including a mother and daughter. Later it turned out that they were trying to get into a bomb shelter when the debris fell. According to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, specialists from the Department of Municipal Security arrived at the clinic in Desnianskyi district and are investigating why there was no access to the shelter in the clinic.
Earlier, one of the local residents said that he woke up the security guard in the shelter after the explosion, as he said he showed signs of intoxication.
It was also reported that the Kyiv police had opened a criminal investigation into the fact that access to the shelter was denied during the air raid. Later, it became known that investigative actions were underway at the capital's clinic, where the shelter was not opened during the alarm.
