It is noted that the participants discussed an action plan for central and local executive authorities in the event of an accident at the Zaporizhzhia NPP. They focused on the issue of evacuating civilians to safer regions. First and foremost, the evacuation of children, the elderly and people with limited mobility.
"RMA representatives reported on preparations for the evacuation of civilians. At the same time, representatives of host communities reported on their readiness to receive evacuees. In particular, the Deputy Prime Minister instructed Ukrzaliznytsia JSC and regional military administrations to determine the most optimal routes for evacuation," the statement said.
"We are at war. Therefore, we must be prepared for any scenario. Our actions must be clear and coordinated," emphasized Iryna Vereshchuk.
