The regional centers of Wagner PMC continue to recruit new fighters after mercenary leader Yevhen Prygozhyn publicly announced that recruitment centers had been closed.

As informs Censor.NЕТ, this was reported by the Russian newspaper "Important news".

For example, on July 31, Prigozhyn stated that the Wagner PMC does not plan to recruit mercenaries, as it does not experience a "shortage of personnel" and that new recruitment could begin "as soon as a new (additional) 'group' is created". Prigozhin claims that the Wagner PMC is currently present only in Africa and Belarus.

Instead, in specialized chats where Russian "volunteers" communicate with each other, "Vazhnye Rossiyskie Izvestia" found reports that the group plans to resume recruitment in August.

In particular, one of the ex-mercenaries who fought in Africa and Ukraine said on condition of anonymity that recruitment to the PMC was resumed through the Orthodox sports club "Desantnik" in Omsk and one of the PMC offices in Novosibirsk.

The Vazhnye Istory correspondent, pretending to be a "volunteer," tried to get into the new wave of PMC recruitment. In the Omsk club "Desantnik", the journalist was told that Wagner was banned from all recruitment in the Russian Federation, "so it's impossible".
