Proceedings opened against Arestovych for sexist remarks about women. DOCUMENT
People's deputy Inna Sovsun informed about this, informs Censor.NET. It was she who filed a complaint against Arestovych with the law enforcement agencies.
"Today, I received a response from the police about the start of a pre-trial investigation. The information was submitted to the EDPR. This means that the police are now obliged to conduct an investigation. I also have a response from the Prosecutor General that the case has been transferred to the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office," Sovsun wrote on Facebook.
The information was entered into the EDPR under Art. 300 of the Criminal Code ("Importing, producing or distributing works promoting the cult of violence and cruelty, racial, national or religious intolerance and discrimination"). The case was transferred to the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.
Sovsun emphasized that the case requires public control. And she suggested that if the proceedings are brought "to a logical conclusion", it will make it clear: the law in Ukraine is one for all, and impunity is no longer the norm.
Sovsun wrote an application for Arestovych because of his statements at "psychological seminars". Yes, the OP's former adviser called women "creatures" and talked about the desire to "strangle" them. And he spoke of men as "gods" and "idols" who should be glorified.
"A woman, as one of my acquaintances said, should look at her husband like an idol. And periodically smear his lips with her sacrificial blood," Arestovych claimed.
He also called women "unbalanced" and said that any dispute with them could be solved materially.
"The moment a woman screams at you, scratches you, tries to drink all the juices, makes you guilty, and says: "Say something, you bastard!" What should you do? There are several options - move away, throw the wallet, say "Go, buy yourself whatever you want." Option two is to hug her silently. And option three is to hug and fuck," Arestovych suggested.
He also said that, in his opinion, all men want to strangle a woman.
"Boys, as long as the girls don't hear us, and we can talk to you normally and frankly. So tell me, what do you want to do with these creatures? Smother! And strangle, without letting go. At first, of course, you want to fuck, and when you get bored, whether they're used to it, or they've had enough, then you want to suppress the shit so it never happens. And after that, don't open your fingers for three years, until you're guaranteed to suffocate. With their whining, with anxiety, with attempts to control, castrate, not let them go anywhere ", he emphasized.
