Military education is priority for Ukraine in coming years, - Shmyhal
This was stated by Prime Minister Dmytro Shmyhal at a meeting with the Ministry of Education and Science (MES), the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ministry of Finance on Thursday, Censor.NET informs.
The implementation of education projects in Ukraine was discussed at the meeting.
"This year, another 500,000 children who previously studied online went to school. We must be sure that they are guaranteed safety and all the necessary conditions for training. For this, shelters are being actively arranged and buses are being purchased. Funds have been allocated for this," he said.
According to him, the issue of expanding opportunities for applicants to enter was also discussed, in particular, in addition to state orders, the possibility of introducing grants is being considered.
"Special attention is paid to military education. This is a priority for the coming years. We also see an increase in demand for vocational and professional education. In the future, our state will need such specialists for renewal, so we will contribute to their training as much as possible," Shmyhal stated.
