Hamas still holds 137 hostages in Gaza Strip

Hamas continues to hold 137 hostages in the Gaza Strip, including 115 men.

This was stated by Israeli government spokesman Eilon Levy, Censor.NET reports citing The Times of Israel.

Among those still held captive by the militants after the end of the ceasefire are 115 men, 20 women and two children. Ten hostages are 75 years old and older.

Levy noted that the majority of the hostages - 126 - are Israelis, while 11 are foreign nationals, including eight from Thailand.

According to him, seven people are still missing after the first Hamas attack on 7 October.
