Government allocated more than 788 million for construction of fortifications and demining - Shmyhal

The Cabinet of Ministers has allocated more than UAH 788 million for demining and fortifications.
This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal in a telegram, Censor.NET reports.
"An extraordinary government meeting has just approved a decree to allocate funds to the Defense Ministry to strengthen defense capabilities in the frontline regions. In particular, UAH 759 million will be allocated for the purchase of vehicles and UAH 29 million for special equipment," noted Shmyhal.
According to Shmyhal, these funds will help to form additional demining units and significantly accelerate the timeframe for clearing Ukrainian land of Russian mines and shells.
