Rada supported increase of NACB’s staff to 1,000 people

The Verkhovna Rada increased the number of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine to 1,000 people.

People's Deputy Yaroslav Zhelezniak reported this, Censor.NET reports.

"The Council supported a total increase of 300 people in the composition of NACB. FOR (#10203-1) - 332. To increase the maximum number of staff of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine from 700 to 1,000 people," the message reads.

The draft law provides for a staged competition for filling additional vacant positions: in 2024 - for 100 positions; in 2025 – for 100 positions; in 2026 – for 100 positions.

"This is an important draft law, which is one of the main ones in our European obligations," the parliamentarian added.
