Anatoliy Hunko, a non-partisan MP suspected of bribery, joined the Restoring Ukraine parliamentary group. This group was created after the dissolution of the pro-Russian parliamentary faction ’Opposition Platform for Life’.

This was reported by a deputy of the Voice faction, Yaroslav Zheleznyak, Censor.NET reports.

"Accordingly, the group again has 17 deputies, the minimum number for the existence of a deputy group in this convocation," he wrote on Telegram.

As a reminder, on 8 August 2023, Hunko was exposed for receiving an $85,000 bribe. Subsequently, an audio recording of him announcing the amount of the bribe was published. Hunko was expelled from the Servant of the People faction. The Verkhovna Rada dissolved the investigative commission under his leadership.

On 8 November, Hunko was released on bail of UAH 2 million and returned to work in the Verkhovna Rada.
