Verkhovna Rada adopted as a whole Draft Law No. 10307 on amendments to certain laws of Ukraine on priority areas of development of science, technology, and innovation.

This was reported by MP of the Voice faction Yaroslav Zheleznyak, Censor.NET reports.

The MP clarified that the legislative initiative No.10307 was supported by 275 votes of MPs.

The document proposes to update the current priorities for the development of science and technology and innovation in Ukraine, taking into account martial law.

At the same time, it is proposed to separately identify the national security and defence segment in the priorities.

The law instructs the government to formulate and submit an updated package of draft laws on the identification of priority areas for the development of science and technology and areas of innovation aimed at the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine, with specific mechanisms for their implementation.

The implementation of the law will ensure the implementation of state programmes, research and development work in accordance with the current priority areas of science and technology development and priority areas of innovation, the explanatory note says.
