Human rights activist Katrychenko: Ukraine has returned 23 wounded soldiers from Olenivka so far
This was stated by Tetiana Katrychenko, Executive Director of the Regional Center for Human Rights, during a briefing at the Ukraine-Ukrinform Media Center, Censor.NET reports.
"As for the numbers, it has been clear for a long time that there were 193 servicemen in the barracks at the time of the explosion. According to our estimates, 23 of them were returned. Among them were both seriously wounded and those who received light injuries and were not in hospitals after the explosion, but on the territory of the Olenivka colony," she noted.
According to her, the human rights activists talked to 10 soldiers who were in this barracks and returned home. They also interviewed three doctors who witnessed the failure to assist the victims in Olenivka.
Human rights activists are trying to establish the names of all the soldiers who were in this barracks at the time of the tragedy. Currently, the work in this direction has reached the home stretch, Katrychenko added.
