Ministry of Defence: Sappers defused over 2100 explosive devices over past week

Over the past week, sappers from the Ministry of Defence seized and defused 2,187 explosive devices in the liberated regions of Ukraine.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the press service of the agency.
"From 19 to 26 January 2024, 4632.89 hectares of terrain, 1430.47 hectares of farmland, and 33.05 km of roads were surveyed and cleared. The work is carried out with the involvement of special equipment for mechanised demining," the statement said.
In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, sappers of the Ministry of Defence have discovered and destroyed 286,885 explosive items.
