In Lyman and Kupiansk directions, Russians have no strategic success - Ground forces
As Censor.NET informs with reference to Ukrinform, the head of public relations service of the command of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Volodymyr Fitio, announced this on the air of the telethon.
"We are observing a tendency to increase the use of kamikaze drones. If a month ago it was 20-30 kamikaze drones per day, now we are seeing 40 or more," Fityo said.
Over the past day, the enemy used 43 kamikaze drones and fired 657 artillery and mortar rounds in the Kupiansk and Lyman directions. At the same time, Ukrainian defenders eliminated 267 occupiers and destroyed 72 units of enemy military equipment.
"The enemy is actively trying to advance, looking for weak points. The direction of Kupiansk remains a priority for him. He is trying to carry out offensive actions near Synkivka and Tabaiivka and is suffering heavy losses in equipment. Currently, the Ukrainian defenders are courageously repelling enemy attacks. They are in active defense, if possible to offensive actions and improve their tactical position," Fitio says.
According to him, the invaders launched 536 artillery and mortar attacks in the Bakhmut direction, the defenders eliminated 63 invaders and 62 pieces of equipment.
The occupiers have no strategic successes, the head of the public relations service of the Ground Forces Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces emphasized.
