All citizens who have received disability groups II and III since 2022, or who have been declared partially fit for military service, must undergo a re-examination by the MSEC or the MMC.

According to Censor.NET, this was stated in an interview with RBC-Ukraine by Fedir Venislavskyi, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defence and Intelligence, and a member of the "Servant of the People" party.

"Today, we have decided that all citizens who have received (preliminary) disabilities of groups II and III for the first time since the beginning of the large-scale war, or who have been recognised as partially fit (aged 18 to 60) for military service, must undergo a re-examination by the MSEC or the MMC, respectively. They must confirm their fitness or unfitness for military service," the MP explained.

However, Venislavskyi noted, there were also comments that there may be cases where a person has a disability since childhood.

"And she definitely doesn't need to be tested again if, for example, she has been deaf since birth. But all these details will be specified at the stage of approval of the amendments.

"After 24 February 2022, the number of people with Group II and III disabilities increased dramatically. And there are doubts whether all of them received this disability as a result of real injuries or illnesses," the parliamentarian concluded.
