Poland will maintain the ban on the import of groats, corn, rapeseed, sunflower, flour, bran, meal and cakes from Ukraine, but will not limit the transit of Ukrainian products through its territory. The Ministry of Agriculture of Poland did not appeal to the Polish government with a request to stop the transit of Ukrainian agricultural products.

This was announced on the website of the Polish Ministry, Censor.NET informs.

"In connection with the fact that the Ukrainian side declared that the transit of its agricultural products through Poland will be limited to a minimum from April to June of this year, the Ministry of Agriculture did not make a request to suspend the transit of Ukrainian agricultural products through the territory of Poland," the ministry said in a statement.

The Ministry of Agriculture of Poland emphasized that the embargo on some Ukrainian goods remains in place.

Poland was able to agree with the European Union on the relaxation of many provisions of the "green" course. Also, the Ministry of Agriculture reached a consensus with the farmers protesting on the border with Ukraine and made concessions to the strikers.

"The protesting farmers should find them satisfactory," the statement said.

"The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development fulfills the demands and agreements reached with the representatives of protesting farmers," the Polish Agrarian Ministry concluded.

Also remind, as of the morning of April 3, Polish protesters are blocking the movement of trucks at three checkpoints, allowing several cargo vehicles to pass in an hour. In certain areas, the movement of trucks is generally restricted.

At two crossing points - "Yahodyn" and "Rava-Ruska" - Polish farmers do not allow cargo vehicles that follow from Ukraine to Poland to pass at all.
