In particular, the Ministry emphasized that the cancellation of the "limitedly fit" status does not mean an automatic transition to another status (fit or unfit).
The law comes into force on 4 May 2024.
"Citizens who are recognized as 'partially fit' must undergo a second military qualification examination within 9 months after the law comes into force. That is, by 04 February 2025," the Ministry of Defence explained.
Also, after the law comes into force, the government has 3 months to adopt the relevant regulations defining the updated list of diseases for determining fitness/unfit for military service.
Yes, after a second examination, the soldiers were recognized:
- unfit - will be dismissed from military service;
- fit - will continue to perform military service.
And those liable for military service are recognized:

- fit - can serve.
