Unlawfully convicted by Russia Ukrainian filmmaker Sentsov’s first story book published
Censor.NET reports citing the statement on the website of Babuin bookshop.
The stories were written well before Sentsov's detention.
In addition, it is reported that the Ukrainian filmmaker is already working on a novel at present.
It is also noted that half of the earnings will be spent on Sentsov's lawyers and his children. The initiators of the publication are Hanna Palenchuk and Oles Sanin.
It should be reminded that the court in Rostov-on-Don convicted residents of Crimea Oleh Sentsov and Oleksandr Kolchenko on Aug. 25. Sentsov was sentenced to 20 years of imprisonment, Kolchenko to up to 10 years.
Ukraine's Foreign Ministry called the verdict a political put-up job.
The representatives of the EU said that the verdict of the Ukrainian filmmaker Oleh Sentsov and activist Oleksandr Kolchenko violated international law and judiciary standards.
