Venislavskyi filed complaint against Bezuhla to SSU for disclosing "information from closed committee meeting"
A member of the Parliamentary Committee on Security, Defense and Intelligence, MP from the Servant of the People party, Fedir Venislavskyi, filed a statement with law enforcement agencies regarding the actions of the deputy of the committee, People`s Deputy from the Servant of the People party, Mariana Bezuhla.
The People`s Deputy said this in a comment to Hlavkom, Censor.NET reports.
Venislavskyi announced his intention to file an application for Bezuhla in early July. Now he has confirmed his words.
Earlier, Venislavskyi accused the People's Deputy of disclosing information from a closed meeting of the committee. He believes that such actions of Bezuhla contain signs of a crime under certain articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
According to media reports, the People's Deputy was to send a statement to the State Bureau of Investigation. However, Venislavskyi has now clarified that "this is not the jurisdiction of the SBI".
"It was Bezugla who interpreted my speech in this way. I said that I would appeal to law enforcement agencies, and yes, I followed through with my statement," said the member of the parliamentary committee.
The People's Deputy added that he is now waiting for the law enforcement to assess the actions of his colleague.
The case in question falls within the competence of the Security Service of Ukraine.
