The Prosecutor General's Office has launched a dashboard with data from the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations on cases against businesses.

The launch of such a platform was announced in February after President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the creation of the Council for Entrepreneurship Support, Forbes reports.

The platform publishes statistics on investigations and court proceedings of criminal offenses related to business and investment activities.

The sample is composed of criminal offenses that provide a criminal legal assessment of the activities of companies or their officials, or where such companies or individuals are victims, their rights and interests are violated, or an offense against the order of economic and investment activities is investigated.

Other sections contain a comparison of all criminal offenses under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, some of which may not be specifically related to economic and investment activities.

The project is being implemented by the Prosecutor General's Office with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation and coordination of the Council for Support of Entrepreneurship under Martial Law under the President of Ukraine.

As reported, at the end of April, the Prosecutor General's Office said that the audit had closed about 19% of criminal proceedings against businesses.

The report noted that a total of 6471 open cases were identified that had been initiated against businesses, of which 1218 (19%) were closed. Most of the cases were opened by the National Police - 64% (4109), the Bureau of Economic Security (BES) - 27% (1757), the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) - 5% (344) and the Security Service of Ukraine ("SSU") - 4% (261).

As a reminder, by his Decree No. 21/2024 of January 23, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy brought into force the NSDC decision "On Urgent Measures to Ensure Economic Security for the Period of Martial Law."
