"Diia" launches recruitment to Army of drones - Ministry of Digital Transformation
The "Diia" mobile app has launched a recruitment drive for the Drone Army. It is possible to join the UAV units without visiting the TCR, and the application process can be completed in a few clicks.
This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, Censor.NET reports.
He noted that after submitting an application, a person will be assigned to the unit of his choice.
According to him, there will be no "distribution" and no mobilisation through the TCR. People will go to basic military training with a signed contract.
"The suitability for service is also confirmed independently at the stage of application, so there is no need to undergo a MMC," the Minister explained.
How does joining the Army of Drones work?
In the "Diia" app, you need to select the desired brigade or unit using filters, and you can send one or more applications.
You can also choose a drone-related field there, from operator of any drone to engineer. Then the recruiter invites you for an interview, and the unit signs a contract.
Motivated fighters must become the backbone of the army. Within the Army of Drones, we have formed and manned hundreds of strike companies, trained tens of thousands of operators who work according to the new doctrine and destroy hundreds of enemy equipment every week. To increase the number of qualified operators, the Ministry of Defence has already started certifying private UAV operator schools, and recruitment in Diia is a logical next step for those who have decided what they want to be in this war," Fedorov added.
