Kyivteploenergo was searched by subway police - KCSA
Today, regular searches took place at the headquarters of Kyivteploenergo. The company considers them groundless and claims that they are trying to create a crisis in Kyiv at the beginning of the heating season.
This is reported on the website of the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA), Censor.NET informs.
"The head office of Kyivteploenergo was once again visited by law enforcement officers - representatives of the Subway Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kyiv. The visit is strange, to say the least, because Kyivteploenergo does not carry out any work related to the subway at all. It seems that this is an artificial production of criminal proceedings and deliberate creation of crisis situations for the company with unprofessional interference in all areas of the heat supply company's activities in order to destabilize the city's life support processes, especially at the start of the heating season," the statement said.
Kyivteploenergo notes that law enforcement officers are investigating construction work at one of its energy facilities by a contractor. The reason for the searches is allegedly a violation of labor laws by the contractor and the presence of unofficially registered employees.
"Kyivteploenergo declares the absurdity of such accusations by law enforcement officers, as the company has nothing to do with labor relations in the team of another business entity. The company also has no controlling functions in the field of labor relations and notes that such powers are exclusively vested in public authorities," the KCSA website reports.
Kyivteploenergo also emphasizes that law enforcement officers are trying to seize the original documents for contracts that have not yet been finalized, which could lead to disruption of work on the city's critical infrastructure. Unauthorized interference in the process of restoring the city's critical infrastructure could lead to unpredictable consequences in the winter, the heating company emphasizes.
