"Zubr" all-terrain armoured vehicle is put into service in Defence Forces
The Ministry of Defence has authorised "Zubr" four-wheel drive all-terrain armoured vehicle for use in the Defence Forces.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defence, Censor.NET informs.
It is multifunctional and is distinguished by mobility, manoeuvrability and compact size. It also has a reinforced independent suspension and outstanding driving characteristics, which allows it to move at relatively high speeds over difficult terrain.
Shallow water obstacles are not a problem for "Zubr".
"The armour and design of Zubr provides protection for servicemen against small arms fire and minimises injuries to the driver and passengers in the event of a mine or enemy landmine.
The vehicle's design allows for the installation of additional weapons systems and its use for transporting personnel and evacuating the wounded," the ministry said.
