Ukraine is ready for winter. Energy grids are decentralized, there are agreements regarding missiles for air defense - Zelenskyy
Ukraine is now better prepared for winter than in previous years of the war. Russia has stockpiled weapons and will launch combined strikes, but Ukraine has agreements to supply missiles for various air defense systems.
The head of the Ukrainian state said this in an interview with Ukrainian Radio, Censor.NET reports with reference to Ukrinform.
"We are definitely more prepared for winter than ever before during the war," Zelenskyy said.
According to the President, the energy network has been decentralized.
He also noted that Ukraine currently has agreements on missiles for various air defense systems.
"I will not speak in terms of numbers, but today we are in a very good position with regard to agreements on missiles for Patriot, NASAMS, IRIS-T and many other air defense systems," Zelenskyy said.
He also added that intelligence indicates that Russia will continue to conduct combined strikes, build up its forces, and increase production in order to cause blackouts.
"And blackouts are undoubtedly the dissatisfaction of people and society," the head of state said.
