A Russian plane dropped a 250-kilogram bomb on a school in the Belgorod region of Russia.

This is reported by ASTRA, Censor.NET reports.

It happened on November 19. Around 6 a.m., a UMPB bomb "accidentally" landed on a school in the village of Bykovka in the Yakovlivka urban district.

Sources reported that the bomb broke through the roof and is now in one of the classrooms on the third floor.

There was no evacuation from the Bykovka school. Police and territorial defense officers arrived at the site.

Russia is letting in FABs

At least 150 cases of FAB bombs falling in Russia and the occupied territories of Ukraine in 2024 are known.

"Most often, FAB-250 and FAB-500 fall. As a rule, they do not explode during an "emergency descent" - the shells are destroyed after the fact by explosive experts. The Russian Armed Forces use such guided aerial bombs to attack, in particular, Donetsk and Kharkiv regions, as well as the city of Kharkiv," ASTRA writes.
