Trudeau: Canada to continue to help Ukraine
Canada is ready for a change in the U.S. administration and is committed to continuing to support Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression.
This was stated by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.
"We are aware of the potential difficulties after President Trump's arrival, but we will not panic. We will continue to focus on providing Ukraine with the assistance it needs to win this war and establish peace," Trudeau said after participating in the G20 summit in Brazil.
The Canadian prime minister added that the G20 members are "focused mainly on the current stage of the war in Ukraine."
"There's a lot of talk about what might happen after the inauguration of the new US president, but there's a lot to be done between now and the end of January, and that's what we're focused on," Trudeau said.
