Not single judge or prosecutor who prosecuted Euromaidan participants has been convicted - Prosecutor General’s Office
There are no indictments against judges or prosecutors who prosecuted participants in the Revolution of Dignity.
This was stated in an interview with LB.ua by Oleksii Donskyi, head of the Department of the Office of the Prosecutor General for Maidan Affairs, Censor.NET reports.
According to him, more than 30 people accused of crimes against protesters continue to work in the system.
Donskyi explained that they can be removed only from the position that contributed to the commission of the crime. If the official moved to another job after committing the crime, he or she cannot be removed.
"Of those who are accused in the Maidan cases, more than 30 people work in courts and law enforcement agencies. I will say a very important thing: there is no guilty verdict against any judge in the Maidan cases, no prosecutor. Not a single one. There is only one against an investigator," he added.
Donskyi said that there are dozens of such cases in total.
