Enemy concentrated its forces in direction of Selydove and Promin in Pokrovsk direction, over 60 attacks repelled in Kurakhove direction - General Staff
The situation at the front remains difficult. The enemy is using its superiority in manpower and equipment to attack our positions. Ukrainian defenders are steadfastly holding back the onslaught of the occupiers and inflicting maximum losses on the enemy.

In total, as noted, 217 combat engagements were recorded over the past day, November 24, 2024.
Strikes on the territory of Ukraine
According to the updated information, yesterday the enemy launched one missile attack on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements using four missiles, as well as 67 air strikes, including 85 drones. In addition, it carried out more than 4,200 attacks, including 121 from multiple launch rocket systems and engaged more than 1,500 kamikaze drones.
The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular, in the areas of Khrynivka, Chernihiv region; Hlukhiv, Svesa, Solianyky, Basivka, Zhuravka, Sumy region; Hraniv, Tykhe, Bohuslavka, Kharkiv region; Lyman, Velyka Novosilka, Donetsk region; Zaporizhzhia city; Novomykolaivka, Kherson region.
Strikes on the enemy
Over the past day, the aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit twelve areas of personnel concentration.
As a reminder, the total losses of the Russian invaders over the past day amounted to 1610 people. Ukrainian soldiers also neutralized six tanks, 27 armored combat vehicles, 22 artillery systems, 114 operational and tactical UAVs, 84 vehicles and two units of special equipment.
The situation in the Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our troops six times near Kozacha Lopana, Tykhe and Vovchansk.
In the Kupiansk direction, 14 attacks took place over the last day. Defense forces repelled the enemy's assault near Holubivka, Pishchane, Lozova, Kruhlyakivka, Novoosynove, Kolisnykivka and Vyshneve.
The situation in the East
According to the General Staff, the enemy attacked in the Lyman direction 15 times. They tried to break into our defense near the settlements of Novomlynsk, Kolisnykivka, Kruhliakivka, Senkove and Lozova.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attacked four times in the areas of Chasiv Yar and Stupochky.
"In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 55 aggressor's assault and offensive actions in the areas of Myroliubivka, Krutyi Yar, Novotoretske, Lysivka, Krasniy Yar, Mykolaivka, Sukhyi Yar and Mykhailivka. The main efforts of the enemy attacks were concentrated in the direction of the settlements of Selydove and Promin," the statement said.
In the Toretsk direction, the aggressor made nine attempts to advance in the areas of Dyliivka, Toretsk and Shcherbynivka, and was repelled.
The General Staff also informs that in the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of this day, the enemy has attacked 46 times in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Hryhorivka, Dachenske, Pustynka and Chumatske.
In addition, the Defense Forces repelled 67 attacks in the Kurakhove direction. The occupiers were most actively trying to advance near Berestky, Sontsivka, Novodmytrivka, Zoria, Kurakhove, Dalne, Romanivka, Yelizavetivka and Hanivka.
The situation in the South
According to the General Staff, in the Vremivka direction, the enemy made 14 attacks on our positions in the areas of Trudove, Novosilka and Makarivka. He actively used bomber aircraft to carry out attacks in the area.
In the Prydniprovske direction, four unsuccessful attempts to force the units of the Defense Forces out of their positions resulted in no success for the invaders.
The situation in the North
"The operation in the Kursk region continues. Over the past day, Russian aircraft conducted 37 air strikes (49 GABs) on Russian territory, Ukrainian defenders repelled 25 attacks by the invaders," the General Staff emphasizes.
No signs of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissia directions.
On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy is using artillery and aviation from the territory of the Russian Federation in the vicinity of Ukrainian settlements.
Our soldiers inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces and actively undermine the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.
