More than 100,000 low-quality mines are being recalled from front. In one of brigades, batch was seized, but no new ones were given - Butusov
After receiving information about a batch of defective mortar rounds, they began to be recalled from the front. However, some brigades are not given new ones.
This was reported by Yurii Butusov, Editor-in-Chief of Censor.NET, on his YouTube channel.
"According to our data, the state has allocated about UAH 25 billion for the mortar rounds production program in 2024. Planning for the distribution of these funds was carried out. Oleksandr Kamyshin, the Minister of Strategic Industry, who is currently an advisor to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, was responsible for this program of ammunition production, mortar rounds," the journalist said.
According to Butusov, we are talking about about 1.9 million mortar rounds.
"We are now seeing the quality of these mortar shots for 25 billion. This is a real sabotage. I first published information about these mines on November 6. It was the first publication. I must say that after this video, commissions, inspections, official investigations, and a lot of bureaucratic work really started. Some mines were seized from one of the brigades, but no new mines were given, and no other mines were removed from the front," emphasized Censor.NET Editor-in-Chief.
Last week Butusov again showed a video with low-quality mines.
"More than 100 thousand mines are being recalled. We had to seize mines from 7 brigades in one of the frontline areas, where there were massive mine failures, according to a letter from one of the commanders. There is still no explanation of what to do with these mines," he summarized.
