Hourly power outage schedules may return

As a result of the nighttime attack by the Shaheds on the Ternopil region, power companies were forced to develop a schedule for turning on the electricity in the region. Electricity will be supplied to each customer queue for two hours during the day.

"Ternopiloblenergo JSC, based on the transmission constraints of the existing power grid, has developed and is implementing a schedule according to which electricity will be supplied to consumers at certain hours (according to the queues below). We ask consumers to check to which queue your address belongs," the statement reads.

At a briefing, Ternopil Mayor Serhii Nadal noted that almost the entire city was without electricity. This caused problems with water supply, but the utility company is gradually reconnecting pumping stations to generators.

Heating is available in the homes of Ternopil residents, according to the authorities. Electricity is also available in hospitals, and kindergartens and schools are running on generators. In addition, the city is gradually resuming trolleybus service.

On the night of November 26, Russian troops attacked Ternopil and the region. There were interruptions in electricity and water supply in the regional center. It was also reported that network restrictions were being introduced in the Ternopil region due to the attack by the Shahed.
