Russia is preparing to organize new illegal elections in the occupied territories of Ukraine, which should take place as part of a "single election day" in 2025 and 2026.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the National Resistance Center.
Reportedly, preparations for the organization of illegal elections in the occupied Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions have already begun. Local collaborators have been instructed to form nine single-member districts in these territories.
These elections are aimed at ensuring greater representation of "deputies" from Ukrainian regions in the Russian State Duma, which is part of the Kremlin's attempt to legitimize its aggression and terrorist activities on the territory of sovereign Ukraine.
