RF troops are trying to destroy fortifications of Defense Forces in Vovchansk direction - using GABs and artillery - OTG "Kharkiv"
The Russian army has begun to use guided aerial bombs and multiple-launch rocket systems more actively in the Volchansk direction to destroy fortifications.
This was reported on TV by the spokesman of the OTG "Kharkiv" Yevhen Romanov, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.
"There are constant hostilities on the Vovchansk direction and in Vovchansk. The enemy is trying to storm the positions of Ukrainian defenders. It does not change its tactics, except that recently it has begun to use guided aerial bombs and rocket-propelled flamethrower systems more often, trying to destroy the fortifications that Ukrainian defenders are holding on to," Romanov said.
According to him, the invaders are not able to move in large columns or with heavy armored vehicles, as all areas are "kill zones".
"Firepower is on duty there, aerial reconnaissance by unmanned systems is constantly carried out in the air, and attack drones are flying around. The enemy cannot advance in any other way than in small groups," noted the spokesman.
He noted that the weather also affects the course of combat operations in the north of Kharkiv region, as rain, fog and strong winds make it impossible or significantly reduce the effectiveness of strike and reconnaissance unmanned systems.
