32 out of 78 "Shaheds" destroyed, another 45 drones lost in location - Air Force
On the night of December 1, 2024, the enemy attacked Ukraine with 78 Shahed-type attack UAVs and unidentified drones.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press center of the Air Force Command.
As noted, the air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine. The air defense was operating in the Kyiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Sumy, and Poltava regions.
What has our air defense managed to destroy?
According to the Air Force, as of 09:00, 32 enemy UAVs have been confirmed downed, 45 Russian drones have been locally lost, presumably as a result of countermeasures by the electronic warfare of the Defense Forces, and one more is still in the air!

Earlier, Censor.NET reported that on the night of December 1, Russia once again attacked Kyiv with attack drones. The defense forces neutralized about a dozen UAVs.
