On Sunday, 1 December, the Russian invaders launched a massive offensive in the Kharkiv region, in the area of responsibility of the 42nd Separate Mechanised Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This did not come as a surprise to the Ukrainian defenders - they inflicted losses on the occupiers.
The soldiers of the brigade reported this in Telegram, adding the relevant video, Censor.NET informs.
"We were ready for the attack. We are repelling it. The fighting is continuing," the brigade said.
The soldiers of the 42nd Brigade also announced the minimum confirmed losses of the Russian invaders during the repulsion of the attack:
- 13 killed and 27 wounded occupiers;
- 2 units of T-62 tanks were destroyed;
- 2 units of T-62 tanks were damaged;
- 2 units of IFV-3 were destroyed;
- 1 APC was damaged.
