52 out of 110 "Shaheds" destroyed, 50 more drones lost locally - Air Force
On the night of 2 December 2024, the enemy attacked Ukraine with 110 "Shahed" attack UAVs and other types of drones from the directions of Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press centre of the Air Force Command.
As noted, the air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defence Forces of Ukraine.
How many drones did our air defence destroy?
According to the Air Force, as of 08.30 a.m., 52 enemy UAVs were confirmed downed in Kyiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions. 50 drones were lost locally, presumably as a result of countermeasures by the electronic warfare systems of the Defence Forces, 6 left the controlled airspace towards Russia and Belarus, and one more is still in the air. Combat operations are ongoing!

Earlier, Censor.NET reported that on the evening of 1 December, Russian troops launched "Shaheds" into Ukraine. Later it became known that on the night of 2 December in Ternopil, ruscists hit a multi-storey building, there were dead and seriously injured. According to the State Emergency Service, 1 person was killed and 3 injured in Ternopil.
