Zelenskyy on other leaders' calls to Putin

Conversations between leaders of other states that support Ukraine and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin do not strengthen Ukraine.

This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Kyiv, Censor.NET reports citing RBC-Ukraine.

According to him, he knew that Scholz would call Putin, and he also told the chancellor his opinion on this.

"After one conversation, there is a second, third, fifth conversation, because sometimes people want to take the leadership to themselves. And I think that this may simply be a case of a wave of recognition of Putin in fact. I believe that this does not strengthen Ukraine. This is my opinion. But, as I said, we have much more in common with Germany than we have differences," Zelenskyy said.

Scholz's call to Putin

On November 15, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz spoke on the phone with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin for the first time in two years.

According to him, the phone conversation with Putin was not pleasant, as the Russian dictator continues to insist on achieving his military goals in Ukraine.
