Scholz commented on his conversation with Putin in November

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, commenting on his conversation with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in November, said that Russia must end the war.

He said this during a press conference with Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Censor.NET reports.

Ukraine has its own army, its own Armed Forces, and can achieve its full independence. This means that Russia must stop the war and withdraw its troops. I told him (Putin - ed.) this clearly," Scholz said.

He also spoke about a conversation with Putin in early 2022 and said that Russia "decided to start this war two years before it began."

Scholz's call to Putin

On November 15, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz spoke on the phone with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin for the first time in two years.

According to him, the phone conversation with Putin was not pleasant, as the Russian dictator continues to insist on achieving his military goals in Ukraine.
