Umierov and Austin discussed current situation at front and preparations for next "Ramstein"

On Monday, December 2, Defense Minister Rustem Umierov discussed with Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin preparations for the next meeting in the Ramstein format.
Umerov announced this on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.
As noted, the parties discussed the current situation on the battlefield, key challenges and needs of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
"We also focused on strategic planning for 2025 - in particular, the supply of weapons, equipment and arming of our units," the minister said.
According to Umierov, "special attention was paid to preparations for the next meeting in the Ramstein format.
Ukraine and its partners continue to work on solutions that will help to further strengthen our defense capabilities and bring victory closer, he emphasized.
"Our common vision is security, stability and a just peace for Ukraine and the entire democratic world. I am grateful to the United States for its leadership role in coordinating international support for Ukraine," the Defense Minister added.
Earlier, it was reported that the next meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine's defense in the Ramstein format could take place in December. Discussions are currently underway on whether it will be a meeting at the level of the country's leaders or defense ministers.
