Over last day, 188 combat engagements were registered in frontline. Half of them took place in Pokrovsk and Kurakhove sectors, - General Staff
90 enemy attacks were repelled in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions yesterday. The ruscists also increased the number of assaults in the Vremivsk direction.
According to Censor.NET, this is stated in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Shelling of Ukraine
According to the updated information, yesterday the enemy launched two missile strikes using four missiles and 24 air strikes, dropping 31 GABs on the positions of Ukrainian units and localities. In addition, it carried out over 4,200 attacks, including 141 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used over 2,000 kamikaze drones to attack.
The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular in the areas of Hlukhiv, Kruhle, Petropavlivka, Bohuslavka, Lyman, Lozova, Kostiantynopil, Komar, Vremivka.
Hostilities in the east
In the Kharkiv sector, one unsuccessful hostile attack took place in the vicinity of Tykhe.
In the Kupyansk sector, five occupiers' attacks took place over the last day. Ukrainian defence forces repelled enemy assaults near Nova Kruhliakivka, Lozova and Synkivka.
In the Lyman sector, the enemy attacked 16 times. He tried to advance near the settlements of Hrekivka, Tverdokhlibove, Yampolivka, Terny, Zarichne, Torske, Druzheliubivka, Bilohorivka and in Serebrianske Forestry.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the occupiers attacked five times in the area of Chasiv Yar, Stupochky and Predtechyne.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out six attacks near Toretsk and Nilipivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders stopped 40 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachenske, Zhovte, Pushkine, Novotroitske, Shevchenko and Novopustynka.
Ukrainian defence forces repelled 50 attacks in the Kurakhove sector. The enemy made the main efforts in the areas of Berestky, Stari Terny, Zoria, Sontsivka, Kurakhove, Dalne, Yelyzavetivka, Hannivka, Romanivka and Uspenivka.
In the Vremivsk sector, the enemy made 37 attacks on our positions near Kostiantynopilske, Rozlyv, Sukhi Yaly, Makarivka and Novodarivka. The enemy was actively using aviation to attack the area.
Situation in the south and north
In the Orikhivsk sector, our defenders repelled one enemy attack in the direction of Novodanylivka.
In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Russian invaders attacked our positions four times.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.
On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy is actively using artillery and aircraft from the territory of the Russian Federation in the vicinity of Ukrainian settlements.
The Ukrainian defence forces continue operations in the Kursk region. Enemy aircraft are launching guided aerial bombs at Russian territory. To date, there have been 12 air strikes involving 17 guided aerial bombs and 492 artillery attacks.
Strikes on the enemy
The Ukrainian Defence Forces are inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces and are actively undermining the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.
Yesterday, the missile forces and artillery of the Defence Forces conducted four strikes on the areas where enemy personnel were concentrated.
In total, the Russian invaders suffered 1,660 casualties over the past day. Ukrainian troops also neutralised eight tanks, 46 armoured combat vehicles, 20 artillery systems, 46 operational and tactical UAVs, two cruise missiles, 56 vehicles and three units of occupiers' special equipment.
