President Volodymyr Zelenskyy assured that the government would do everything to strengthen the Ukrainian army.
According to Censor.NET, citing RBC-Ukraine, the head of state said this during a prayer breakfast dedicated to the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"We want a fair peace for Ukraine and we will not forget about justice for all Ukrainians. The just right of all our people to live in their homes, in safety and peace. We thank everyone who helps Ukraine and thus helps themselves. When justice is returned to one, everyone gets a chance," he said.
Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Every year on 6 December, Ukraine celebrates the Day of the Armed Forces. The holiday was established in honour of the adoption of the Law of Ukraine "On the Armed Forces of Ukraine" in 1991.
The Armed Forces Day traditionally sees celebrations, awards for the military and a minute's silence in memory of the fallen soldiers.
