Invaders stormed Novodarivka and Novopil areas in Zaporizhzhia direction 14 times, their losses in south amount to 139 people - Southern Defense Forces
Counter-battery combat and repulsion of enemy assaults continue in the operational area of the Southern Ukrainian Defense Forces. Ukrainian defenders continue to inflict fire on the enemy's locations, rear, and firing positions.

The situation in the South
As noted, the enemy does not abandon its intentions to break through the defense line in several areas of combat.
The occupation forces continue to fire at the positions of Ukrainian troops and frontline areas where civilians live. Almost 260 attacks from various types of artillery were recorded over the past day.
Russians continue to launch rocket attacks on peaceful cities from time to time. Yesterday, a civilian was killed as a result of such a strike on Mykolaiv district.
The enemy also continues drone terror against the civilian population, striking at homes and cars. Over the past day, it used 325 FPV drones of various modifications and dropped more than 350 fragmentation munitions with damaging properties.
Attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces
In the south of Ukraine, the enemy army keeps storming our defense line. According to the updated information, in the operational area of the Tavria Brigade, the enemy resorted to assault actions 18 times, 14 of which were in the Zaporizhzhia sector in the areas of Novodarivka and Novopol.
In the Huliaypillia and Orikhiv directions, the enemy continues to conduct rotational deployments of personnel. Also, the aggressor is training attack aircraft for future attacks, actively conducting air and engineering reconnaissance.
The Dnipro direction, namely the island area at the mouth of the Dnipro, remains a priority target for the enemy and is under constant attack. Over the past day, 4 attempts of unsuccessful assaults were registered. Having suffered significant losses in manpower, the enemy was forced to retreat to its original positions.
Losses of the Russian army
According to the Southern Defense Forces, over the past day, enemy losses amounted to 139 occupants.
In addition, Ukrainian defenders destroyed:
- 11 artillery systems
- 14 vehicles and armored vehicles;
- 1 tank;
- 1 air defense system;
- 1 Zala UAV;
- 3 motorcycles and an ATV;
- 2 generators;
- 2 Starlink systems, 2 video surveillance cameras, and 2 radio electronic warfare stations.
Also destroyed:
- 5 dugouts and 3 personnel shelters;
- 2 observation posts.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Ukrainian defenders have eliminated 750,610 Russian invaders.
