Despite the fact that the enemy is actually standing near Pokrovsk, the city's critical infrastructure continues to operate, including coal mining and shipment from mines.

According to Censor.NET, the head of the Pokrovsk CMA, Serhii Dobriak, told Glavkom in an interview.

He noted that about five thousand employees are working at critical infrastructure enterprises.

"The enemy continues to shell our industrial facilities. After all, the distance to Pokrovsk from the front line is five kilometers, and to industrial enterprises - 14 kilometers," said Dobriak.

The head of the Pokrovsk CMA also said that there are still two markets in the town, and there are few shops that are open. The city hospital is also functioning, with two doctors on duty. Two Nova Poshta offices and a Ukrposhta branch are still open, but this may change next week. After all, almost 60% of residential buildings were destroyed by the occupiers.

"Enemy shelling has intensified - up to ten attacks per day on average. Civilians are wounded or killed every day. This is due to the fact that Russian FPV drones, cannon artillery and UAS cover almost the entire Pokrovsk with shelling," Dobriak noted.
