Russian Volunteer Corps fighter Ilya Bogdanov goes missing in Kyiv

Kyiv law enforcement officers have launched a search for a former FSB officer and Russian Volunteer Corps fighter, Ilya Bogdanov, who has been fighting on the side of Ukraine since 2014.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported to Suspilne by the Kyiv National Police.

"Ilya Bogdanov is on the wanted list of the Sviatoshynskyi Police Department. The police received the appeal on November 20. He is considered to be missing," said Anna Strashok, a spokeswoman for the Kyiv National Police.

The disappearance of Bogdanov was reported in social networks the day before.

The network wrote that he was last seen in Kyiv on Nyzhniy Val Street, where the Korean restaurant Pyan-Se, owned by Bogdanov himself, is located.

It should be noted that in late October, Ilya Bogdanov claimed that his Korean restaurant Pyan-Se was set on fire.

According to him, at first, law enforcement officers did not want to investigate the case and "wanted to write it off as an accident."

At the time, according to Bogdanov, "the restaurant was set on fire as a veteran business, just like military vehicles are set on fire." But later, the SES found that the fire was caused by a short circuit.

He also published surveillance videos, which he claimed showed the arsonist.
