Russian troops stormed Novodarivka area in Zaporizhzhia direction 8 times, their losses per day amounted to 89 occupiers - Southern Defense Forces

Over the past day, Russian troops carried out 13 attacks in the operational zone of the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, 8 of which were in the Zaporizhzhia direction near Novodarivka.

This was reported by the Southern Defense Forces, Censor.NET reports.

The situation in the South

Occupation forces continue to shell the positions of Ukrainian troops and frontline areas where civilians still live. Over the past day, 199 attacks from various types of artillery were recorded.

Over the past day, in the operational area of the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, the occupiers used almost 250 FPV drones of various modifications and dropped more than 300 fragmentation munitions with damaging properties.

Assaults on the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces

The occupants attacked 13 times, 8 of which were in the Zaporizhzhia sector near Novodarivka.

The enemy does not stop rotating personnel in the Huliaypillia and Orikhiv directions. The aggressor is also constantly training attack aircraft for future attacks. From time to time, it conducts aerial and engineering reconnaissance.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, the enemy's priority target remains the island area at the mouth of the Dnipro River. Over the past day, five unsuccessful assault attempts were recorded. The enemy was forced to retreat to its original positions after suffering manpower losses.

Losses of the Russian army

According to the Southern Defense Forces, over the past day, enemy losses amounted to 89 occupants.

In addition, Ukrainian defenders destroyed:

• 1 anti-aircraft missile system "Tor"
• 3 artillery systems;
• 7 units of automotive and armored vehicles;
• 6 motorcycles;
• 1 boat;
• 2 generators.

Also damaged:

• 4 dugouts and 3 personnel shelters;
• an observation post and a place to store weapons.
